Hello SmartShape,
Today is the 12 week anniversary of my gastric sleeve procedure, and so I wanted to send a quick update on my progress. It is a day of celebration because I achieved a big goal of mine – to no longer be obese! I’ve lost 32.5 pounds as of this week’s weigh-in, which moves me to ‘overweight’ on the BMI chart instead of ‘obese’. Yay!! There’s still lots to go, of course, but I’m celebrating with every victory. There have been lots of non-scale-related victories as well, such as dropping clothes sizes, an easier time walking stairs, and (my husband’s favorite one) stopping snoring.
I wanted to make sure to thank you for all your assistance on this journey.
