Can you please pass on to your Surgeon my thanks. It has been an amazing journey since my surgery in February 2015. I am 120 pounds down and I am off almost all my medications including my diabetes meds, with my A1C now normal. And I am at goal weight! I am healthy and active, having built a deck in my backyard this summer, and now doing work on my front yard. I am also just finishing up my Class IV Instructor Rating – I am learning to teach people how to fly airplanes. I never could have done that at 310 pounds. Things I never used to dream of doing. The surgery saved my life.
