I went into this with very little knowledge about the actual procedure and the pre-op/post op requirements, I just knew I needed it. From day 1, everyone was very helpful, friendly, and patient to both my wife and I. I felt genuinely cared for and like I was the top priority amongst all the other patients the team works with. It's a hard journey but the surgical and non-surgical team made, and make it so much easier.
In my online search for a gastric bypass solution I found SmartShape, which seemed a very good option due to their excellent reputation. I will never go for the cheapest solution, but for the best quality.I must say that overall it was a very positive experience. The frequent level of communication and distribution of information packages gave a lot of reassurance prior surgery. The care provided by their highly trained staff at the clinic, as well as getting multiple check-ins and feedback from my surgeon, was absolutely fantastic. I felt well cared for and treated with utmost respect.
The aftercare program is excellent too; I received instant feedback on any questions I had, and I like the fact that I'm being accompanied for the next 5 years in this journey of a new life.
My surgery was less than two weeks ago and I feel fantastic, with no complications.

I was very scared to be put under, but my surgeon was very, kind patient, and reassuring. The anesthesiologist also came and spoke to me and put my mind at ease as well. Highly recommend.
From start to finish, I was happy with the way things were handled the surgeon actually took time to talk one-on-one with me after surgery, then see how I was after I was ready to be released, and then followed up with a phone call to a see how I was and if I had any questions. You don't see that happen a lot these days.
Wow! What a genuine experience with lots of care and understanding. I didn't feel judged by anyone at the centre during pre & post and that in itself is care for a human! I wasn't sure what to expect, but it went flawlessly and I appreciate the concern and care I got. I have nothing but fantastic things to say about the doctor and team! I only wish I knew about this sooner!
