I have had my band now for a few years, just over 4 years. My weight loss has been slow, about 3/4 of a pound per month, but I have been very happy that it has been consistent weight loss along with no gaining. I recently had some liquid taken out of my band and I feel great. I didn’t realize that my band was too tight, but over time I was starting to get more and more things stuck. Since getting that slight amount of liquid out, just a few weeks ago, I am down 8 lbs which is the fastest I have lost since getting the band put in. I have somewhere between 20 and 30 to go but I feel great. Food no longer controls my life.
Thank you so much for continuing to reach out via email and thank you so much for all the assistance over the past 4 and a half years. Getting the band was the best decision I could have made for my health. If I could change one thing, it would be to have gotten my band sooner!
