On October 29th SmartShape Toronto (Don Mills Surgical Unit) hosted an open house for a tour of the recently renovated facility.
Don Mills Surgical Unit (DMSU) new look and enhanced functionality resulted from months of planning. “We’ve always managed to do great work,” says Medical Director and Orthopaedic Surgeon Dr. Rick Zarnett, “but the facility was showing its age. Our location only had two Operating Rooms, we wanted to update those rooms and add a third Operating Room to allow us to perform a greater variety of surgeries.”
