Learning how to cope with stress effectively takes time. Sometimes you’re not even aware that you are under pressure, but your body sure does. It’s important to assess first what your triggers may be and then learn how to develop those stress management skills to overcome each situation.

5 Steps that can help you manage stress positively

1.Make time for yourself. No matter what you are doing make sure you have time for yourself every week. And during that time you do what you love. Make yourself feel special!

2.Avoid fatigue. Sleep early or take short naps during the day to avoid being really tired which causes irritability.

3.Make a to-do list. Making a to-do list helps you manage your time effectively. That way you are not doing something you can do later and finding time for something you love to do.

4.Talk about it. Sharing your problems with a friend, family or your partner can help put things in perspective. It will assure you that you are not alone.

5.Exercise. You don’t have to work-out for hours. A 30 minute walk can be equally effective for you to clear your mind and reduce stress.
