Ingredients:
1 pound ground turkey
1 medium onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
4 cups chopped cabbage
2 medium carrots, sliced
1 can (28 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
3/4 cup water
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Directions:
- Cook the turkey, onion and garlic in a large saucepan over medium heat until meat is no longer pink;
- Drain the large saucepan;
- Add the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil;
- Cover and simmer for 12-15 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.
