Just before I approached SmartShape I was at 496 lbs. I am now down to 281 lbs. I am doing fantastic! This has been the best decision I have made, as I have gained my active lifestyle back. The SmartShape Weight Loss Clinic has saved my life. A very satisfied client. Maybe it would be great to make an appointment in the near future just to touch base and see you all and thank you.

I have no doubt that I may have been the more complicated of your post-op patients. I could see the amount of work you were all doing to support my health. I strongly believe that all previous or future patients would agree that your team is dedicated, professional, skilled and most compassionate. I had the most wonderful nurses with me day and night at the Don Mills Surgical Centre. Their care and patience was beyond expected and is the only reason I could have gotten through it! Being away from my children and husband was difficult, but the nursing staff helped to alleviate so many of my fears, and we even shared some laughs! Thank you ladies!

The Doctor has been more than available to me and completely active in my pre- and post-op care needs. I appreciate all the work he has done for me, as well as his expert surgical skills, to let me come through surgery safely. I couldn’t say enough thank you’s to all of you to measure up to how grateful I am for your care and support. I look forward to showing you that I have been successful in my continued weight loss. Outstanding level of care in every aspect, with dedicated attention to special needs and situation. Very co-operative and helpful staff - pre-op, post-op, and dietitian. The nurse providing care immediately after surgery was amazingly caring and helpful. The whole experience was way beyond my expectations and just simply outstanding. The Surgeon took time always to explain all details and answer all questions. I'm very glad with my decision to go with this Surgeon, and certainly highly recommend him and the SmartShape clinic to anyone.

I just had my surgery yesterday and I already feel great!I thought the recovery time was going to be lengthy but I guess I was wrong. The nurse and the nutritionist have already called me to see how I was doing, great sense of patient care. Thank you so much to everyone at SmartShape, this is the start to the new me!

I am thrilled not to have to shop in Plus Size stores anymore and to throw out their brochures and promo emails as I am not going back! I’ve gone from a size 3XL to a 1XL or Large. I’m now the first person to send selfies where I never used to like having my picture taken. I can walk now for over an hour with no pain, breathlessness or fatigue. From the time I contacted SmartShape I felt that the staff went out of their way to meet my needs. This was important because I had to travel halfway across the country for the procedure. Every staff member I dealt with was extremely positive about my decision. They stressed that it would require commitment on my part but that  they could provide all the tools to help with that. My gastric sleeve surgery with SmartShape was in December 2014. My pre-op weight was 285 lbs, and to date my current weight is 175 lbs. This is the best thing that's ever happened to me. I regret nothing about the operation.
