My whole experience with SmartShape was positive. Like anyone else, I felt nervous going in to the clinic... and a little bit overwhelmed by the number of people who assisted with my care. Staff maintained clear communication and always let me know what the next step would be. The procedure itself went well and on time and although the recovery was harder than I imagined, it was made easier by caring and knowledgeable staff who came to my aid all day and night long after the procedure. After discharge, I was feeling anxious about a few things and used the paging service to connect with the surgeon. I received three calls from him after that point to check in on my status.… which I really appreciated. Since then I have had at least four phone calls from dietitians and nursing staff to follow up and ensure my well-being. I am now registered to attend a webinar so that I can learn more about how to optimize my gastric sleeve. I have the SmartShape phone number on speed dial and never hesitate to call with the smallest of questions. They are always handled in a timely and professional way. I would definitely recommend SmartShape to others seeking to achieve their weight loss goals!

The staff prior to the surgery and after the surgery were fantastic. The surgeon made me feel comfortable prior to surgery and after surgery. Once I woke up from surgery the medical staff were right there until discharge to help me along my new journey. Thank you for such a great experience.

My experience at SWLC was absolutely top notch. The staff are very professional warm and empathetic. It was important to me not to feel like I was entering into a business transaction vs a medical procedure. At no time did I experience this atmosphere. I had a small concern en route home to Western Canada and phoned the clinic nurse line on a Sunday. My surgeon called me back himself within minutes. I was of course fine!! ---Karla
