Lost 63 lbs since surgery. I am not taking any of my diabetes medication. My blood sugar is in the range of 5.2 to 7.0 everyday. I am very grateful to the surgeon and staff for this surgery, I am seeing the positive results. I just bought myself 2 pairs of 2x pants, at surgery I was 5x, I am feeling proud! -Tamaray

I can’t say enough good things about the surgeon and the entire staff at the clinic. From my very first contact, everyone was incredible about answering my seemingly endless questions, alleviating any concerns or fears I had and making sure I was comfortable at all times. I admit I was scared silly up until I walked into the clinic... but that quickly disappeared as a result of the incredible care and support that everyone provided! Overall I was very satisfied with quality and care of both the staff and the facility. Everyone was really friendly and upbeat which I believe helps the mental state of us patients. I never felt I needed to wait for anyone and help was constantly offered. The surgical team were great. The surgical nurse, anesthetist, and the surgeon were very forthcoming and pleasant. This gave me great confidence in their ability and I found any worries about complications disappeared after meeting them. My only complaint would be the bed. For recovery I was required to be inclined. I don't think there was any padding in the bend of the mattress and it caused me a lot of pain in my tailbone. A week later I'm still sore in the area. - Anonymous

My entire life I have been in and out of hospitals for one thing or another and I am proud to say that I have never recieved such wonderful care from both the doctor and the entire care team. I would like to thank my surgeon and all of the nurses and staff at Smart Shape for their kindness during my stay at the clinic. All of you made this experience very positive indeed. My night nurse was especially lovely and I will never forget the time she took to explain each and every task. I think her name is Diana. The followup has been wonderful and I feel very confident in this journey. Thank you all!
