I was very pleased with the staff's knowledge and support during this whole procedure. The SmartShape surgeon made me feel good about what I was doing and after speaking with him, I knew I was in great hands. The post-op care was above and beyond what I expected, the nurses were excellent, and I was very comfortable during my overnight stay. Thanks to all and I am looking forward to my new healthier life. Overall I am very satisfied. The SmartShape surgeon took the time to answer all my questions in advance on the phone and called me back personally to confirm some important information. I can't say enough good things about the staff at the surgical center; they were absolutely wonderful. Everyone I dealt with there was kind, efficient, knowledgeable, and supportive. They put me at ease and treated me with respect. They took excellent care of me from admission to discharge. The surgical center was spotless and comfortable. I was sent home with hard copies of the SmartShape Sleeve Gastrectomy Program Patient Guide and Food Guide - it was very helpful to have copies of these booklets post-op. The dietitians and nurses have been wonderful both pre and post-op. They have provided me with timely and helpful suggestions, returning emails and phone calls promptly. The webinars were helpful, especially the one with the dietitian. I plan to continue to use their excellent services for the next 5 years! Overall, I would highly recommend the SmartShape surgeon and this program to anyone considering sleeve gastrectomy surgery. Carolyn

From the very beginning when I called SmartShape I have been very satisfied. They have been extremely helpful answering all my questions. On the day of my surgery and the next day, I cannot say enough about Peggy and Diana - they helped me with everything and were so kind, understanding and reassuring. I would recommend this facility to anyone who can't lose the weight they are trying to. It has been six weeks and I am down 26.4 lbs. I am so happy and wish I would have done this sooner. So I want to say a big thank you to SmartShape, the SmartShape surgeon and all the staff. Debbie

Just checkin in and saying hi. Had to get rid of just over 50 (all) my t-shirts and dress shirts and had to get all new pants. Haven't gone over 100 carbs a day and even eating 4 to 5 times a day with as clean food as I can find, I'm usually around 1200 calories. (And yes, I'm still doing vitamins and such ????) My blood sugar is SOLID at 5 no matter when I check it through the day (so no Metformin at all) and my surgery for torn cartilage in my knee was cancelled as it is no longer causing any issues. Sleep is awesome (on my stomach if I want cuz I couldn't since I was 20 something) and I don't wake up thru the night AT ALL ???? So much more energy for everything..... I can't wait for Oct 30th..... 7 days in MEXICO and diving again in Cozumel. I haven't told my dive group yet.... wanna see the look on their faces. I was 310 lbs the last time we dove together in Feb 2018. Anyway..... all is going super great ...... Thought I would check in and please forward this to the surgeon..... he always said to keep in touch! Thanks, have a great long weekend. James

Everything was well organized and the SmartShape staff, nurses and doctors were very helpful and caring. They were always available to answer questions. Terry

I thought I would send you some recent pictures. I conquered a fear I went to an amusement park with friends and got in line for a ride and was not told to leave because I was too big. The safety bar came down on the ride and I cheered I fit in a ride for the first time in 25 years. Let me tell you I rode rides all day and had the time of my life! My next goal is to get on a plane and not have to ask for a seat belt extender. Take care, Denise

I was very impressed with the responsiveness of the team whenever I called with questions. I never had to wait and was promptly given a response. I was well cared for during my stay at the hospital. I have no regrets going with the SmartShape Surgeon and his team. I look forward to working with everyone learning how to live the healthiest way that I can as a Mini Gastric Bypass patient. I am excited for the future!!
